Alchera

Alchera 's project was born in the late 90's.
In 2011 their first Ep "Manipolazione" was released. During the Live Tour they sold over 600 copies. The band gives a funny definition of their music: “pomeridianoavolumedabarbiere”.
In may 2003 the second work of Alchera is entitled "Arcadia" and they manage without any distribution to sell over 1000 copies.

In 2004 after playing at Suoni dal Sud as the best Sicilian band, Alchera reach the national finals of M.E.I. FEST in Verona. After a selection among 8.000 italian bands they were chosen for the i-TIM Tour sharing the same stage of Jamiroquai, Velvet, Litfiba, Delta V. The shows were afterwards broadcast on RockTv. For this reason Alchera were also guests at DATABASE on RockTv.

The single Vomito alcolico, in Arcadia, was elected twice the best of demo of the week in the national radio program Demo di Radio1 Rai.

At the National Contest Alternativersion Alchera reached the 3rd position the rank and were awarded as the best Sicilian band of the year.
Alchera still get new satisfaction by sharing the stage with artists of fame such as Moltheni, Meganoidi, Marta sui tubi, Simone Cristicchi, Paolo Benvegnù, Joe dei La Crus, Max Gazzè.
Mario Riso of RockTv wants Alchera as opening act for the Rezophonic Tour date for Scordia (Krossower) sharing again the live stage with Malfunk, Bluvertigo, Linea77, Deasonika, L’Aura.
In 2007 Alchera reaches a turning point. Technology gives them a new sound.
Since that moment two years go by while they have an intense live and creative activity.

Discarica di Sogni is the result. This third album is first released in 2009 through one of the best music magazine in Italy “Mucchio Selvaggio” and reaches 3.700 downloads on their official site. Discarica di sogni is the end of a trilogy about the deep and intense beat of a passionate heart. Manipolation gives a portrait of an icy and cold heart plugged to a switch, Arcadia shows a dying heart left to its fate. Finally in Discarica di Sogni the heart is a meal ready to be cruelly eaten by a woman.

In 2011 Alchera sign with My Place Records. Discarica di Sogni will be distributed and sold in all traditional and digital stores.
